"The Angie"

And on the OTHER coast…
Visiting Primal Fitness, a CrossFit affiliate in Washington, DC, I had the chance to do some Parkour. In this video, we are practicing underbar technique, monkey vaults and precision jumping. Thanks to Jesse Woody and Mark Toorock of Primal Fitness - who also are responsible www.AmericanParkour.com - check IT out! Oh, and by the way, thanks to Doris Gazda, composer of the Bisbee Hill March (and my MOM!)

Today's Workout
How many rounds can you complete in 20 minutes of:
5 weighted pull ups (25 lbs)
10 weighted sit ups (25 lbs across chest)
15 weighted walking lunges (2, 25 lb dbs)

Wow! That is cool to hear my Bisbee Hill March on your web site. Thank you! mom

Wow, that's a cool video. I like all the different jumping techniques (though hopefully they start smaller than that for beginners!!). Hey Rose, this looks like stuff we will be doing next year at Primal Quest...only over boulders, not parrallel bars and boxes!!

Looks like fun - thanks for sharing! You guys should check out the new Die Hard movie for some Parkour worked into the fight scenes, too -- there's a French character who does some wacky stuff!

And awesome music - that's so cool!

Representin' from the hometown, woo! Is this where I throw up DC gang signs? Awesome jump work—I hope we're learning those super-reverse and slow-motion jump techniques when you get back! wink

Okay, I'm going to try this workout tomorrow. Except for the 25# part on the pullups. That might look more like 5-8#! The rest will be as written!

Okay, just finally did this one today. I did it as written except for I used 10# on the pullups instead of 25#. I did 7 rounds, plus 3 more pullups. Pullups definitely the slowest part for me!
