Does your brain have a mind of its own? I'm pretty sure mine does - I can relate to this article on many levels. One being that if I don't see something in front of me - like that flash drive that I bought last month that I tucked away in my desk drawer, it might as well not exist! Same thing goes for my To Do list - if it's not down in black and white... poof! Up in smoke! Any thoughts?

Today's Workout
3 Rounds for time:
10 Thrusters, 95 pounds
5 rounds of "Cindy"
(5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats)
do you do 10 thrusters and then 5 rounds of Cindy? That equals 1 round??????????
Randy - yes... exactly!
Based on that WOD, I'd agree that your brain has a mind of it's own. You should keep tabs on it. It could kill somebody.
Regarding the discussion topic, what was it again? Oh, yeah, so I can't remember which rep I'm on in half my workouts and I end up adding in a couple more reps for good measure. Even if I can track the reps, I still have to figure out which round I'm on.
I think my solution is to safety pin a notepad to my shirt and tie a pen around my neck with some yarn.
Yes, my brain has a mind of its own. That's why I have an iPhone. And several notebooks. And I write down EVERYTHING that is important. I swear that until I write/note something down, it doesn't exist.
wow...this was my first day of crossfit (definitely not my last though as i plan on becoming a diehard)...anyways, i misread the WOD and thought it meant 3 timed sets of thrusters and than 5 rounds of Cindy...and to think i was beat after that workout even though it was a shortened one. anyways, is there any way the WOD could be more explicit. Don't get me wrong, i appreciate all the work that is done, but a clearer description would be very helpful. thank for everything - you guys are amazing!
