One of the cool things that happens when you start writing down your workouts in a journal is how you increase your awareness of what you're doing and NOT doing. Oftentimes merely writing in a journal makes a significant difference in performance... as does writing down your goals on paper, so that they exist somewhere other than in your mind. Awareness is a very powerful thing - consider the placebo effect and the effect it can have on your health and fitness. This article "Hotel Maids Challenge the Placebo Effect" gives and interesting example of just how powerful your mind can be in influencing your body to change.

AMRAP in 20 minutes of:
21 Box Jumps
15 Kettlebell Swings
9 Pull Ups
Sometimes I wonder about Rodney - he smiles an awful lot during the workouts!
